To install Vonage they will send you simple instructions to follow. They color code their wires and give you step by step pictures to do the installation. If you have no dial tone then you will want to check the cable wires making sure that everything is hooked up correctly then reboot again.

Once you have your phone working then you will probably want to have more than one phone working, This isn't that difficult to do. The first thing that you will have to do is to find the phone box on the side of your house, and undo the wires there. These are the wires that the phone company has ran to your house. once you remove the wires, then you can get the Vonage phones networked. I wouldn't recommend cutting the lines but instead just undo them.

Once the wires are undone outside the house then you just take a phone line from the Vonage adapter and plug it into a wall jack for the phone. Then plug in the other phones into the other phone jacks in the wall and you should have dial tone to all the phones. Since this will make a circuit.

One of the nicest things that Vonage has is that they will send someone to your home to hook up the extra phones, usually they will do this for free and they usually don't advertise it, but you can request it if you are a new customer. They will send out a tech to do the wires and make sure that your phones are working. This isn't available everywhere but its in many places.
